Drinking with coworkers is always a huge risk. Especially if they're a bunch of normie stepford smilers who'll call HR on you for the slightest misstep.

My favourite one is being anonymously called up on “excessive swearing” when I said “crap” once in a meeting. Our internal training basically encourages people to snitch on each other and by god do we gave some hall monitors here.

One of my old jobs we would go out at least a couple times a month and it was always a blast. But a bunch of them were all comrades too.

We had a brewery right under our office for like 3 years. It was multiple times a week that we'd end up there lol. Ended up hiring like 3 people were met in that place.

The post work beers were also a great time to discuss compensation and get everyone on the same page. As we grew the hall monitors started showing up and that had to go underground sadly.

Lol some of the worst binge drinking sprees and some of the most embarrassing shit I've done while drunk were with my coworkers on that horrible white collar job I had. Then again, the corporate culture very much encouraged getting hammered at every opportunity to forget you were working 14 hour days (of bullshit work) regularly.
