Havr a friend whos experimenting with off the shelf panels and battery packs. They can run his office (minus the ac) the whole day no problem.

Wanted to add, his office is all plug in appliances, and running only on a strip thats independent of the grid. If the solar goes down, he just moves the main bug from the battery to the house grid.
