MLs are not communists. They never actually worked towards it and there are some who don't even define it as a stateless, classless, egalitarian society. So MLs shouldn't be called communists in the first place. Calling hating MLs anticommunism will probably expose you as either a tankie or a right winger, both of which aren't welcome here.

Right-wingers, fash, nazis, nazbols etc. are not welcome! Right wing talking points (such as anti-woke, anti-queer, speaking favorably of far right figures, being anti-antifa etc.) will get you banned pretty quickly.

On near-east topics: Nakba is an established fact. The (ongoing) Palestinian genocide is a fact. Israel commits crimes against Palestinians. No anti-Arab (such as Palestinians and Druze) sentiments allowed (it falls under racism anyways). In regards to Israel, do not dehumanize civilians. Saying shit like "there are no civilians in Israel/Palestine" will get you permabanned.

"Tankies are attacking me!" is the Reddit version of "Muslims keep existing and that's scary!" in mainstream press.
It isn't even "further left". You can be a boilerplate liberal and you'll get called a Tankie for saying genocide is bad. Talking like a Clintonite from the 1990s is "too left" for Schumercrats of the modern era.

No, you'll get called a tankie for being a bolshevik and promoting authoritarianism. Literally no one is calling liberals tankies. The only people I've ever even seen using the word tankie are leftists, the sane ones, who are using it to deride authoritarian-minded leftists whose goal seems to be to make every leftist space a miserable, hellish, and hostile environment for anyone less left than a bolshevik.
Tankies give the right wing all the pretext they need to justify the caricatures they paint of the entire left as being "radical communist extremists" or whatever other bullshit they say.
Stop pretending tankies are some protected class that's being persecuted and we all need to handle them with kiddie gloves so we don't hurt their feefees. It's not the same thing as islamophobia at all, and it's preposterous that you would even attempt to equate the two. Also, this isn't fucking reddit.
No, you get call a tankie for being a ML who defends crimes against humanity and looking at your modlog, you have been doing a lot of bootlicking. PugJesus' bans of tankies helps me clean up here pretty early on because I know PJ is usually right when banning tankies.
