Uhura interrogation scene was bad. Also when they say, oh, here are your papers, you can leave... As someone else mentioned, there is no point of having the parts on the Enterprise in B/W, that part was ok, but why La'an as chief security have not checked the transporter logs. She thought something has been tampered on the transport, check the logs!
The away team story was not bad, the homage to Casablanca was bad, with the klingons singing in the bar... the rest was ok, they dont want to interfere, but they did somehow.
Edit: forgot to say that the theme of the episode os follow the orders/rules or not. In both cases they choose to not follow them, and the takeaway you have from that is dangerous, because im both cases they have a good outcome
