well of course under the Qing the Manchu were socialist because they didn't have to perform most labor (banner system?)! And the Mongols were socialist because, because all the land? was distributed to Mongols. (the latter doesn't work because the land was subdivided among an incredibly small familial group that organizationally placed 99% of mongols under them)
