I don't know what kind of smart TV do you have but both of my Samsung TVs come on immediately to whatever I need. If I turn on my Xbox and hit the button they immediately come up to my xbox, if I turn on my fire stick they immediately come to the fire stick. I have three Vizio TVs as well and none of them have any issues coming up. I even have one fire TV that just immediately pops up it'll display the logo for like half a second and then come into the menu.
