Mark does rub me the wrong way. He’s just a very positive guy and clearly cares about being a good guy. But is way too buddy buddy with the big man.

I get creeper vibes from him, always have. Something about the way he behaves around kids, as a dude who has gotta be in his 40s-50s at this point.... Yeah it's weird.

Same, he gives me massive creep vibes

I don't get creeper vibes from him around kids, he seems like a good teacher. Where I get bad vibes are all his scams. The "golden ticket" he did in his science boxes just seemed like an illegal lottery. You cannkt have a giveaway where you must purchase somethong for entry, and idk how they would distribute winners to online submissions and golden tickets evenly

I also get kiddie diddler vibes about him, and I have felt the ick when I see him for a few years now.

See that’s the thing for me too. He had this creep factor I couldn’t put my finger on. Seems wholesome and just wants kids to learn. Put entertaining science videos out, collaborates with other channels, and has the occasional mischief video where he screws with scammers. But the ick is still there for some reason.

Then he keeps shilling for Tesla knowing full well what that means and it becomes clear. You can have ick and be innocent of any crime. Some people just encode differently. But to have the ick and celebrate Tesla this late in the game…that combination always ends with missing kids under his backyard.

Ok glad I'm not the only one.

I don't like putting that kind of thing into the ether, generally, especially when it's based entirely on how they behave online.

But still... I dunno maybe it's just Peter Pan syndrome or whatever. Though I feel like it's rare that people like that excel enough in science to work at NASA (while having an actual personality lol)
