Super Mario Bros is a high budget B-movie and it's pretty charming for that. I enjoyed much of it, but I also kept reflexively punching the friend who made me watch the damn thing so idk if that's a positive review or not. It's a bad movie, but bad movies can be fun. Plus, "Monkey!" is perhaps the greatest line ever penned.

I agree there's plenty of aspects in just about any movie to enjoy, especially for the meme value - I enjoy the hell out of James Marsters as King Piccolo in DragonBall: Evolution, he fucking nailed that role (I'm so funny). The movie is almost objectively trash though.
