Why is a simple act of vandalism a felony?

    It probably has something to do with using a gun.

    The 2nd amendment only protects your right to purchase and own a gun. Not only is using a gun often illegal, it's grounds for summery execution. You know, freedom.

    Its the dollar amount the gun stuff would generally be separate charges. Sort of like theft over $500 is a a felony but not under. Of course that varies state to state.

    I'm surprised they didn't hit him with "unlawful discharge of a firearm" because that is what this is. Or "commiting a felony with a firearm" charges.

    Still agree with it though!
