My wife's family is from northern Minnesota. When we visit my in-laws we like to joke that they're two states north of Canada.
I mean... yeah. Just about. But smoke from Canada often gets bad enough in MSP to obscure traffic. I can't imagine how bad it is in N MN. Canada is always on fire.
