If you could have a small farm, what would you grow/keep? (lemmy.world)

I'm lucky to own/operate a small farm I live on. It doesn't produce almost any real money for me but it serves as a good collection of hobbies/food. My primary income is industrial and doesn't scratch that itch. But, it pays the bills and affords me a schedule that let's me maintain the farm. So, what would your ideal small farm setup look like?

That's fantastic. So, your ideal would be the ability to scale up your veggie production? Do you need more land, time or both?

    Time, money, and land ideally haha, but mostly the latter two. I have such big dreams that are closer to something of an EcoVillage. On a smaller scale, I just have fun with it and am slowly scaling up my yields with no illusions that I'll be able to eliminate our grocery bills anytime soon.
