My favorite part of this article:

Although “humbled” that Nolan has read her translation, she is blunt in her assessment of his creation: “I would be ashamed to have written any part of this script.” Wilson’s rhetorical climax has been widely circulated: “It lacks psychological, emotional, political and ethical depth. Its narrative structure is gimmicky. The writing is abysmal. None of the characters has convincing motivation for their actions or words. There are no sex scenes, and all the food looks horrible.”

I actually agree with Emily's review, I liked the movie but it was still just mid. I mean, three hours long in ancient Greece and nobody fucks? Come on man.

For most people a movie is 2 hours. For an academic whose specialty is being adapted into a major motion picture, its going to last a lifetime. A whole life time of clearing up misconceptions which didnt exist before. It seems nearly every person you meet asks about it, every book outside of your journal will have to spent a few pages on it.
