The gaming scene will be better without them.
Less competition really isn't a good thing.
Yeah competition is when Microsoft buys all the studios, fires staff, focuses on games no one wants and then closes the studio for underperforming.

I like good competitors. The bad ones, I'd prefer if they wouldn't exist.
Both Xbox and Sony have behaved very anti-consumer. Why would I support their existance?
The competition doesn’t have to be good, it just has to exist. Why strive to be better if there is nobody to compete with?
I haven’t owned a console since the Xbox 360, as I prefer to game on PC, but it’s important for the gaming community that there is healthy competition across all platforms.
Consoles themselves are the problem. Give the people the control over the hardware they bought. Yes, that includes Microsoft and Apple.
