Well, I'd hazard an alternative: I believe what the settlers did -- after the murderers cleared the American population out of their new home -- standing up and challenging the leadership, even, if necessary, forming a cohesive army of rebels to violently fight for rights they deemed at the time absolutely vital and worth such a barbaric and last-resort act as killing for, is something I appreciate. The mistake was her people letting the leadership bring the country down quicker than any grieving Middle-Eastern victim turned international activist.

Ha! That's rich. Americans are too lazy and self entitled to have an actual revolution. Half would spiral into existential crisis if the lights went out, and the other half would be politicizing why the lights were on in the first place.
