I just wrote a wall of text about the new Candy Crush style of gambling apps that are targeting unfulfilled middle-aged women, encouraging them to play these apps to self-soothe after poor treatment by their families. Seriously, that's the pitch in the three separate ads I've seen, featuring celebrity spokesperson Ferris Beuller. Women often handle the family finances.
