    Absolutely not splitting hairs - MAGA getting away with posing as "conservative" is a big deal. Genuine conservatism in America has become almost totally submerged.

    there are lots of people whining "they're not conservative, they're authoritarian" who are both conservative and authoritarian. it's not like a lot of them aren't both.

    "Lots of people" whining doesn't change the fact that what we call modern conservatism is no longer conservative. If you aren't going to make an actual point I'm done.

    Sure but the framing for conservatism in this thread is PragerU who absolutely see it all as the same thing.

    Just like I can go into topics about digital games and rightfully point our bluray and dvd are digital media but all I'm really doing is shouting at clouds like an old man about a technicality.
