Launching a orbital mission in the rain and getting struck by a lightning bolt mid-flight, it's quite divine.
I read in another thread that manned launches, refuelling and resupplying launches for space stations do not to get delayed by bad weather, they're only outright cancelled by catastrophic weather. The space station is moving at like 7 kilometers per second, the window is very small.
Satellite launches on the other hand can be delayed for hours because they don't have that deadline.
