The entire film is just using ancient text stripped of its historical and mythological context to shoehorn in more propaganda to make people feel sad over imperialist soldiers' (rightfully deserved) PTSD. I had better not see anyone here liking this shit.

Shaun on YouTube has a good analysis of the fascist elements in the Dark Knight Trilogy. Nolan has been this way for a long time if not forever
