Persons wearing medical scrubs sniffing every 2 seconds on the tram. Yay educated hygiene....
The one that got to me over the weekend was the number of staff from cafes in shopping centres leaving toilet cubicles still wearing an apron! Take it off before you go to the toilet FFS!
Noooo way 🤮
I've seen it happen on many occasions at several different shopping centres: Northland, Highpoint, Airport West and Broadmeadows.
I'm concerned about the infection control risk associated with people wearing medical scrubs outside of work. To me it seems unprofessional.
They've become a status symbol.
Wearing clean scrubs on the way to work I can kinda understand, but on the way home? Or even out on lunch break? What if there’s bodily fluids on them, surely they be put into the hospital wash and not be take home?
I thought scrubs is what you put on at work to protect patients?
I have a runny nose most mornings in the cold without being ill.
Me every time I go from the cold warehouse to the sauna office.
