    Trump got almost 40% of the vote in California. Plenty of MAGAts there.

    Yup, more people voted for Trump in California than in Texas.

    And if we did away with the electoral collage that would matter. As it stands all those votes get tossed in the bin and the electors vote D every time. Its not a good system but.. well its ours.

    those voters do have some impact with the house of reps, per Wikipedia

    As of June 2, 2026, California is represented by the following elected officials, 42 Democrats and 8 Republicans, and 1 independent
