Had to go into remedial science mode and explain why greenhouse gasses trap heat in, complete with videos showing CO2 experiments like they do in high school. One guy begrudgingly agreed but the second guy was shook. I think he started coming to terms with the fact he's blindly believed lies and started questioning other "truths". I was raised on a steady diet of fox news. When I finally became traveled enough to realize it was bullshit, I had to come to dozens of separate now seemingly obvious conclusions before i had a half-decent picture. Even CNN, ABC, CBS have their own stuff to sell. Global warming was actually one of the topics that broke me free of that bullshit mindset. I told a few friends global warming was bullshit and they were like "bro you're dumb, here's how we know it's real." I understood enough science to get it was happening as well as the implications.
