It has multiple profiles, can be used portable, has themes and Integrations, like one for Docker Never need anything else imo 😊 permalink fedilink source hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] OldPain@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago (1 child) Tabby is great, but takes considerably longer to start. When I want a terminal, I want it instantly. Kitty and Alacrity are two of my favorites. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] morethanevil@lemmy.fedifriends.social 3 points 2 years ago (1 child) Put it in the autostart 🤷🏻♂️ I counted the seconds for the start... 4 seconds on my system. Tabby is way more comfortable and has a much nicer UI. Those 4 seconds are totally woth it 🐱 permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] OldPain@lemmy.world 1 point 2 years ago !Put it in the autostart 🤷🏻♂️!< Never. I get it though, I held onto it for awhile before that extra few seconds got to be enough. permalink fedilink source parent [–] Cwilliams@beehaw.org 3 points 2 years ago (1 child) The thing that I love about Linux is choice. To me, Tabby sounds terrible, but I'm glad that it has a community behind it to give people that choice. Whatever works for you! permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] morethanevil@lemmy.fedifriends.social 2 points 2 years ago Could not agree more 😊 permalink fedilink source parent
