I used to live just in a room just below the roof in a building with absolute dogshit insulation and no AC, and had to endure up to 35°C. The room was basically never colder than the outside, I wonder if it is even usable by anyone this week. My partner did not visit me during those times since their circulatory system just couldn't take it.

Yep I’m similar. My apartment can handle maybe 4 consecutive 30+ days, but it gets a little warmer every day. Now I don’t get lower than 27° even with the windows open all night. My bathroom tiles last night were warm, even this morning they weren’t exactly cool. We’re supposed to get some rain Sunday evening, and then more through the week, should finally bring the temperature down, but fuck it’s going to be humid.
