I may be overstepping here, but I feel like I have a responsibility to explain this.

Cyanide is a chemical commonly know as a poison. At some point it was considered the standard for spies to take a cyanide pill and commit suicide rather than be taken in by the enemy and tortured.

Thus this comic's name is essentially: Suicide and Happiness. The "Sadness" part is implied in the name.

    Well, I couldn't have given that detailed explanation myself, so thanks. I did know that cyanide is a poison and that the happiness part is tongue-in-cheek, with the actual comics containing plenty dark humor.

    But usually, the jokes are over the top and dumb, whereas this one almost feels like a dead baby joke...
