I miss when you would just pay for a game and then you get the game and if the devs want to get more money out of you they have to sell you an expansion pack 50% of the size of the game
I miss that too, and I think we're starting to show our age since those haven't been a mainstream thing in decades
It basically was up until i was a teenager or in college iirc. I blame obama somehow
