In my experience if you see anything anywhere and search for relevant keywords you'll find multiple places to buy, download etc. one.
I never understand how it's so common that people go and comment and ask others who might now instead of just looking it up. Only times where it makes sense is if they did try to find it but didn't but they'd say that in the comment.
I just can't understand the reaction of "I'll take some time to write a comment that makes other people do the work for me, the same time it would have taken to just find it myself".

I've noticed that as well and I think it's just due to the conversational feel of comment sections and forum threads. In person it would be a perfectly normal comment to make so it's easy to see how the impulse translates to online, but it's still funny to see.

Back in the early 2000s I would often link people to sites like justfuckinggoogleit.com or lmgtfy (let me Google that for you) which would perform the search for them with a condescending animation included. I like to think I've matured since then (I haven't but I like to think so)
