1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, toxicity and dog-whistling are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.

I've felt totally off since I got sick after a flight I took home from visiting my sister in Oregon last year, haven't really felt the same since, not sick anymore, just.. off. But a lot of the other people have great reasonings too.
Ya know a dr can do some tests for ya
I don't really have a primary physician, or insurance. I'm American :)
That is how it's suppose to be if you're poor.
yeah I just went through how I can't see one doc without a referal from a doc that has to be from the medical group but my primary care is not from that group but the group he is in has no one appropriate who will take my insurance so I need to change my pc to see if I can get a referal to see the doctor I need to. We have a grand country. Adding @etherphon@piefed.world to let you know how it would be tough even if you did.
Thanks for sharing your experience :) Yeah it's quite a system we have going on here. I stepped on a rusty nail on my lawn the other day, which is filled with them, I just learned it's common for contractors to leave a bunch of shit in the fill and I guess perfectly legal? Anyways, I called the local county public health office that offers vaccines for adults free of charge to the uninsured but they won't take me because it's considered treatment and not prevention or some shit, they said to go to the ER or urgent care, that's like hundreds of dollars at least. I can go to Walgreens and get a shot for $75 too. So many great choices I don't know lol :(
yeah wtf is that. so they would give you the shot if you had not stepped on a nail? what medical we have here is basically theater.
Well the problem was the wait time, they said next Tuesday which is a little too long to wait for that lol.
Thats at least something but I have found a lot of our stuff is to little to late. Like there is housing programs but somehow you have to survive without housing for a few years to possibly get some.
lmao
good luck with that
