I don't want dictators, regardless of whether they're a fascist rightoid or a tankie leftist.

You will realize someday, sir, how wrong you are and how wrong are your misconceptions and prejudice. I've been in your shoes before. As a good starting point for a baby anglophone leftist I'd recommend Hakim's channel, Second Thought or Luna Oi's channels.

I just wanna praise Luna Oi for anyone observing who hasn't watched her. She was part of my transition from breadtube-to-theory years ago and I remember discussing her in online circles, before being told not to listen to her because she's a nasty tankie.

This sweet lil Vietnamese woman, a nasty authoritarian tankie. It was one of the first interactions that made me examine that term more closely.

Socialist countries are generally the most comprehensively democratic in the world, putting the working classes on top and directing society.

How do these people wander into these parts? And where do they come from?

From what I've heard and seen, it is, yes, even if the prose is a bit awkward and scenes tend to drag on at times. I'm planning on reading it soon. If you want to read it yourself, I suggest you use Umineko Project, which is basically a PC port of the PS3 version.
