Scaring scientists away is a good thing? Or do you mean that's more scientists for the rest of the world? Or are you simply a bigot implying that chinese-descent scientists surely are spies? So many interpretations possible :)

Chances are high that يا ليتني means that Chinese-Americans are wising up
on what the US currently stands for.

It would have been better if they called for separatism though.

Almost everyone else understood what I meant. But I could have phrased it better, sorry.

Weakening the US is the good thing and Trump's accidental win. It goes without saying that Sinophobia and other forms of racism and bigotry is not a good thing.
