Like what. What "actual leftist" thing is he going to do, alongside the extremely NOT left commitment to increasing military spending and generally enticing more people to join up? Healthcare? Which is only implemented to mollify the masses and make socialists less enticing? People really don't know what it means to be on the left, they are convinced that a liberal welfare state is socialism. Very frustrating. I think it's largely a symptom of capitalist realism.

At the end of the day, it was between him, a centrist shitlib and the AIPAC candidate. I agree he is at best a nazi sympathizing war crimes enjoyer, but apparently that's the best candidates Maine could scrape together.
