OH ! This is some gold mine your giving me here ! this will be incredibly useful, thank you so much ! you have quite a lot of content already in the list ! honestly, when I'm researching for solarpunk elements a lot of solarpunk images tend to be AI junk, picturing the same ideas over and over again (there is so many It's so sad) so having people direct ideas and what they'd like to see in a solarpunk futur is such a blast (and much more inspiring) ! thanks a lot !
I'm so glad! I love digging into the gritty details for worldbuilding so I've been having a lot of fun formalizing my own notes and building out new pages. Pushing back on nonsense trends (and eventually AI) is a big part of why I started researching and making solarpunk art! I spent a lot of time trying to croudsource input before I did a scene - the same way you're doing, and I think it's an important part of getting it right.
Yeah, I feel you... I mean what really gave the impulse to my desire to dive into this project was the fact that the fantastic solarpunk animation "dear alice" is actually a damn ad for dairy products... that's so dystopic haha, "nonsense trends" is really great wording about this. I had absolute sparks in my eyes when I watch that video, and the product placement made it fake and inauthentic Your pieces are so cool, i'll do my best to add my own contribution to the art created by all the hearty artists who have worked to make people dream πͺ
