didn't oracle just summarily lay off like 10K people by email, 0 day notice? like literally yesterday?

if the last place that laid me off in a mass reduction got shelled the next day, i would be completely down for whatever the cause was.

    Yeah but then again people who work for oracle probably don’t have the political clarity to diagnose their problems in any rational way

    The movie we shall make of this heroic act of management, saving those people by firing them, shall echo through the ages!

    The board of directors and the CEO, the avengers of the business world, shall take on the anger and hatred of the world to save all those innocent people by preemptively releasing them before the strike!

    (And honestly no one's going to google who got fired where)

    They shall be reviled, but they will gladly take on that anti-hero mantle! They are not the heroes employees want, but they're the heroes they need!
