Facts don't care about all kinds of things, you or my politics, our feelings, etc, etc. They have always existed just waiting until we understood them. And again, the left tends to base their politics on them. Which is why it seems to rightwingers that facts always seem to "lean to the left" (It's part of why they never seem to like experts, they also always "lean left"). But it's just because progressive politics tend to base their reasoning on logics, facts and therefore: truth. Basing your world view, morals and laws on a religion or your feelings (Maga) usually leads to nonsensical outcomes.
