what was that "tylenol causes autism" announcement for

just dropped in and out of public conciousness in a week. did anyone believe it, did anything come of it. who benefits from this 
also its called ~~acetaminophen~~ paracetemol, dont be brand brained
They announced they were gonna find the cause of autism so they found a tenuous link and did the thing. Side note: my wife is very mad she cant take ibu while preggerz.
