When the AI bubble bursts the nazis can buy up all that hardware for a fraction of the cost, to operate their big brother and killbot armies... labelled as a bailout, with global pension funds paying for it to the tune of trillions in losses.

    There is no middle step...

    It's already fascists building them, and this is what they're building them for.

    I don't think people are understanding how much storage space this is, it's like making multiple backups of the entire internet. That much data just doesn't exist. The only reason to have that much, is the long term archival of everything we're doing on a day to day, hour to hour basis.

    Like, it's already to the point where if a cop pulls you over they pull up you bank accounts and how much you owe. It won't be long till they can see anything and everything about you before they even ask for a license.
