Critiquing China for isolationism in the 21st century and collaborating with the US in the 20th, liberalism, cultural revolution, 4 pests campaign, social chauvinism, and other stuff that actually happens:
Critiquing China for Uighur genocide, oppressing Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong, social credit score, and other stuff that's either not real or is simply good and correct for a communist country to do (oh no they freed Tibetan slaves and took over a proxy used by Britain to influence China!):
Liberals could do well to learn that leftists have plenty of time to sit and reflect on the things we've done wrong because we're serious about trying again and doing them right. It's really telling that they can say we never criticize China or other AES because we do have so many criticisms, they're just not based on the fictions they have.
