  • "he was reaching for the officer's handgun"
  • "he was resisting arrest"
  • "he was assaulting an officer"
  • "we thought he had a gun on him"

I'm waiting to see how the administration will spin this one. Obviously the MAGATs will just say "he shouldn't have resisted arrest and he'd be fine right now" for sure, though.

With this many agents wrestling him he could have had as many guns as you can fit on him, shooting him would still not have been justified. They had way more people that would have been required to have one guy controlling each limb for crying out loud. The dumbass who shot him has put the other officer's lives in danger far more than the guy ever could at that point. And even if you could justify the shooting, the last 5 rounds the officer pumped into the guy while he was laying flat on his back absolutely weren't.

The first time I watched this video I was immediately drawn to this guy, like why is he prancing off like that right before shit goes down?

Then I watch it a few more times and I see he has that gun in his hand which appears to be similar or the same as the victim's gun.

Then I watch a few more times and it looks like dude in the gray may have accidentally discharged the gun and was the first shot which then initiated the others to begin firing.

So this guy rushes in, takes the victim's holstered weapon and shoots it as he runs away, which causes all the other itchy trigger fingers to fire, and dude just disappears? Wtf is going on...

Edit I watched the other angle, I no longer think what I said above.
