But I don't lie to my friends. But what if they aren't actually my friends and they talk to me just to be polite? But... There's always a good reason why we've adopted these behaviors-- maybe they were crucial to our survival at one point. But that was then and this is now. Working through all that is not an easy task. In fact, it can be hard work. But it's so, so valuable. And when you commit to it you will see real progress.
