I never finished TRoS... I figured Ben and Rey would kiss and the real power of the force was love all along. Then they would resurrect Luke and all dance to Thriller. Goofy is conflicted, thinking his son has become a terrorist and is considering turning Max into the CIA. It's not until the third act when Goofy finally understands class struggle and that Max and Roxanne are fighting for his grandchildren's future that we get a moving rendition of Eye 2 Eye as Goofy decapitates Pete once and for all.
