More and more I’m realizing that many subs truly feel as though they deserve domination. I just like physical pain and going along with the bit. We are not the same.

My old girlfriend scratched the hell out of my chest (not even on purpose) and I think it awakened something in me.

Haha I’m more of a blunt trauma kinda person. I dated a girl that loved to dig her nails into my back. Was not a fan of he sensation but seeing the damage afterword was pretty cool.

I cherished those little scars for a while ngl. Too bad I blew that relationship. Kinda swore off the whole idea of being with someone afterward out of guilt. Tried dating apps a couple times afterward but that shit sucks.

I'd say to some degree this is something of the distinction between someone who is primarily a masochist and someone who is primarily a submissive.

Speaking from personal experience (me), having a strong fetishized draw to the actual act of submission and not having a masochistic bone in my body, it really is a very different thing, yea, and often does connect to non-sexual personality traits and values and such.
