Eh, torture in any form doesn't work. Unless your goal is the torture itself.

Everyone talks under torture, but no one tells the truth, they simply say whatever the torturer wants to hear, because that's the fastest way to end the torture.

Now, I am in favor of anyone advocating for torture going through it themselves. You'd eventually see much less torture in the world.
