The villagers decide to fight, and so they have to go out into the galaxy and collect some soldiers, warriors to help them.”

Hmmmm a bunch of soldiers from the mother~~land~~planet show up to a remote farming planet and try to take their grains. So the farmers go and recruit some people who opposed the mother~~land~~planet, to help fight.
