I know there's a few apps out there I can use to browse Lemmy, but I'm not sure about their names and the different features they offer.

Currently using Liftoff for the meantime. permalink fedilink source hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] x3n0s@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago (2 children) I'm browsing lemmy.world with Jerboa right now, I just get a warning that this instance is using an older version and to tell the admin to upgrade. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Gatsby@lemm.ee 2 points 3 years ago Mine was doing that, be careful once I got signed out its not letting me sign back in permalink fedilink source parent [–] testfactor@lemmy.world 0 points 3 years ago (2 children) I've noticed today that I can't sort by anything other than "local/active" in jerboa. My phone updated last night, so maybe it's related to that? But it's super annoying, as it makes it impossible to see new content. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Jivebunny@lemmy.world 0 points 3 years ago Yeah, you need to subscribe to some of the 'subreddits' on fediverse. At least that's been my experience. Otherwise you will not get suggested communities. permalink fedilink source parent [–] baseless_discourse@mander.xyz 0 points 3 years ago* (last edited 3 years ago) (1 child) I think you might be able to manually change it after you open the app. I have the same issue, and my server seems like updated (I didn't see the warning). permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] testfactor@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago Nah, the "default" stuff never worked for me. It's always booted into the local/active. I've had to manually switch it since I've gotten the app. As of today though I can't even do that. When I try to manually switch, it does it for about a second, then insta flips back. :/ permalink fedilink source parent
