They run under Peace and Freedom Party. I've been pretty critical of these campaigns over the years because of how much energy and resources they must take and how PSL was choosing to do that instead of organize in other ways, but I'm not a member. permalink fedilink source parent [–] anarchoilluminati@hexbear.net 6 points 11 months ago (3 children) Maybe they only bother promoting the Presidential campaign? Seems like it should go the other way because I've heard of their Presidential campaigns, not local campaigns. Then again, I'm not in their area. But I've been asking on here if PSL runs any local candidates and I've always been told 'No, that isn't their strategy.' La Rivas first congressional campaign is listed there as 2010, her first CA governor campaign was 1994. Lalo, the insurance commissioner candidate here, ran for LA city council two years ago. There's a city councilor in the Finger Lakes area. The party's going to be doing more electoral campaigns going forward since it's grown so much and has the resources to do so more meaningfully. permalink fedilink source parent
