So let's just be clear here. You're saying that everyone who opposes the death penalty is terrible? How did you come up with that? What reason would you have for killing a rapist? How is there a positive outcome from that?

    If you think saying you shouldn’t murder criminals is apologism for crime then you’re more interested in vengeance than justice. There’s times when self defense would require it but this should not be the default.

    If you think a rape victim's unilateral right to guarantee their safety, liberty and happiness is supporting vengeance over justice, then I'll take it. No one who respects human rights will respect a paradigm that protects rapists while ignoring the reality of the situation and prioritizing the status quo over human lives.

    If it is necessary to end an immediate threat, then it’s okay. If you hunt someone down later that’s the vengeance and retribution I’m referring to.

    I don’t want to live in a world where anyone with a deep enough grudge feels justified mowing down the object of their ire. Plenty of stories have explored this issue with revenge, recently it was The Last of Us 2 and I thought they did a pretty good job of showing what you do to yourself when you give into violent revenge fantasies.

    It’s very disappointing that you’re so ideologically up your own ass that you can’t have a reasonable discussion with anyone. Automatically assuming the worst so you can rant about how depraved everyone but you is. Look in the mirror, get some self awareness, and go to therapy.

    My guy, if you're going to use alts to win a argument, the key is to not make it look obvious. You need to not use cookie cutter arguments and you certainly need to change around the type of reasoning you give, and use different examples in each account, so no one suspects anything.

    My comments are morally correct and in keeping with the concept of natural rights, and that scares you because it conflicts with your own ideas of social and moral progress. Indeed, all rape victims do, because their circumstances justify the violence you seek to eradicate from the world -- while defending rapists who commit that same violence on the regular -- because you don't want to admit to yourself that your fantasies have very real and very negative consequences on the most vulnerable people.

    You only care about yourself. That's why cheap rape apologia like you're peddling is evil, and no one should listen to it.

    That's strawman #2 you're busting out. You clearly can't deal with the fact that not everyone will bow down to you the second you oppose rape victims prioritizing their own lives above the demands of an evil society that is designed to serve their rapists and subjugate them. It would threaten your ability to keep going to McDonald's and 7-11 because you know allowing rape victims to protect themselves, especially after the fact, would break the status quo your privileged ass benefits from, and we can't have that.

    I didn't say my outlook was correct. I don't think objective morality exists so I wouldn't say any outlook is the correct one. But if it did exist then there would be one correct morality rather than multiple.

    I am trying to consider this but you refused to answer my question earlier. How is not killing someone harmful and dangerous?

    Again, I don't have any alts. If you rub your brain cells together, it's obvious that someone else could agree with me and be up voting me.

    I have never apologized for rapists.
