I didn't get a screenshot of the "statement" from town officials...which is somehow worse than the screenshot above.

It's not and shouldn't be. Though resurrecting a 6 month old comment should be.
Basically every country I know of requires 20 years of service to get pension. Combat has nothing to do with it.
