Usually I need at least a couple of hours to warm up to somebody. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] frostedtrailblazer@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 year ago I feel I get that way when I’m out of practice for too long. These days, I just need a bit of coffee and I’m usually good to go with some light small talk lol. permalink fedilink source parent [–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children) How do you warm up to someone without having a conversation? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] papertowels@mander.xyz 7 points 1 year ago Stare them straight in the eye while hip thrusting permalink fedilink source parent [–] HK65@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 year ago* (1 child) Occupy the same space and have group conversations instead of one-on-ones I guess. Like, invite people to join your group instead of going out just with you, it's less threatening and less of a "thing". permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 1 point 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 child) That's what I meant though. It shouldn't be "a thing." It's just a conversation. Group conversations are still conversations. You just have to see them as people, not as a goal. Once you get to know them and you find out of you actually like them, as a person, then you can more easily persue them without seeming weird. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] HK65@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 year ago Yeah, I guess we are thinking the same thing. permalink fedilink source parent
