It is not just the tariffs. The fact that Musk is a giant a hole might have more to do with it. The same reason I won't get starlink.

    I'm amazed at the number of people around me that are willing to buy internet from a Nazi. Kind of important infrastructure to so willingly outsource to another nation, let alone an actively hostile foreign oligarch (Musk).

    Meanwhile I'm just left questioning why koodo still doesn't offer 5G home internet in BC years after rolling it out to most other provinces 🙄

    I'm more understanding regarding Starlink, because for a lot of people in the boonies it is a lot better than any of the alternatives. There is competition brewing, but right now there's little choice.

    But if you're buying a Tesla in July 2025 you are making a statement, and it's not a flattering one.
