When this whole conflict started I definetely had sympathy for Isreal, it would suck to be under rocket and terrorist attacks frequently.

However this response is so massively disproportioned and going on for so long I don't think it could be described as anything else but a total genocide.

And American is providing the weapons ... disgusting.

    Two years and you still don't see who the aggressor is?

    In 2023 alone before October 7, Israel killed 242 Palestinians which includes 47 children. Israel killed 47 Palestinian children in 2023 alone before October 7.

    The Gaza ghetto uprising might have been gruesome and unpalatable, but it's Gaza that was defending itself against Israel, not the other way around.

    While it might have been a response initially, it was probably quickly seen as a perfect opportunity to finally set long-hedged extinction plans in motion.

    It's kettling at a national level. Virtually imprison innocent people for long enough, in conditions bad enough, and it's no surprise that they lash out. Likud was waiting for it and used it as the pretext for the extermination of the Palestinian people.
