You don't need heavy artillery to wage guerilla warfare and cripple an enemy's operational capabilities. But with today's tech its more unlikely that one sniper is going to be as effective. With drones equipped with IR it's a lot harder to stay hidden. And in a more urban environment, there are cameras everywhere, and the police have access to everyone's ring doorbell camera, its getting a lot easier for them to track people down. permalink fedilink source parent
